DAY 1: ARRIVE CASABLANCA, MOROCCO

Upon your arrival in Casablanca, you will:

DAY 2: RABAT & FEZ | ANCIENT TRADITIONS RICH HERITAGE

DAY 3: FEZ | TIMELESS MEDIEVAL CITY

Experience the enchanting cultural heart of Morocco with a day spent in Fez el-Bali (Old Fez). This imperial capital, founded in the eighth century by Moulay Idris I, was a renowned center of medieval learning, and you'll have the opportunity to explore its rich history and vibrant markets.

Highlights of your day include:

+Strolling through the old quarter, with its 9,000 narrow lanes, alleys and souks, on a market visit of exceptional authenticity.
+Watching local artisans at work with bronze and pottery, offering an engaging look into the city's vibrant artistic traditions.
+Exploring the intricately detailed Karaouine, one of the oldest still-functioning universities in the world, dating back to 859 AD.
+Visiting Nejjarine Square before continuing to Fez el-Jadid (New Fez), where you'll see the Royal Palace, madrasas (Islamic schools) and mellah (Jewish quarter).

DAY 4: VOLUBILIS | ROMAN RUINS & LUNCH AT A VINEYARD

Travel overland to Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that houses well-preserved Roman ruins, including iconic examples of Roman architecture such as triumphal arches, basilicas, and capitals. Its mosaic floors, depicting Orpheus charming animals with his lyre, nine dolphins symbolizing good luck, and a portrait of Amphitrite in a seahorse-drawn chariot, are among its greatest treasures.
+Visit a winery outside Meknes for a Chef’s Table experience at an on-site restaurant nestled among sunbathed vineyards and olive groves.

DAY 5: ERFOUD | DESERT OASIS

Travel to Erfoud, a small desert-fringed town and:

DAY 6: THE SAHARA | INTO THE DESERT DUNES

Explore the fortified desert town of Rissani in the morning and then:

+Venture into the Sahara desert, riding in a four-wheel-drive vehicle and admiring the reddish-hued sand dunes that can reach up to 500 feet high.
+Experience a local mode of transportation and Ride Like a Local on a camelback to your nomadic tented camp, where a reception with mint tea and pastries awaits you.
+Watch the sunset over the Saharan dunes while enjoying a Scenic Sundowner.
+Enjoy a traditional meal and Moroccan entertainment by a campfire.

DAY 7: OUARZAZATE | ROAD OF A THOUSAND KASBAHS

Journey overland to Ouarzazate, once a stopping point for African traders traveling to the cities of Morocco and Europe. And then:

+En route, absorb stunning views of the High Atlas Mountains’ southern slopes, intersecting the Dades Valley’s flourishing crops, irrigation canals, and palm trees.
+Travel along the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs” to Ouarzazate at the delightful Le Berbère Palace, an oasis of a hotel.
+Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.

DAY 8: OUARAZATE | DOOR OF THE DESERT

Begin the day in Ouarzazate, a city originally built as a French garrison in the 1920s. Then:

+Explore Kasbah of Tifoultoute, a majestic 17th-century fortress featuring a panoramic view of the valley of Ouarzazate and the scenic High Atlas Mountains.
+Visit Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home of the region's most exotic kasbahs.
+See kasbahs that have been featured in famous films, including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator.
+Return to Le Berbère Palace for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

DAY 9: OUARZAZATE | CROSSING THE HIGH AT LAS MOUNTAINS

Journey over the High Atlas Mountains and then:

+Arrive at the "Red City" of Marrakech.

DAY 10: MARRAKECH | EXPLORING THE RED CITY

DAY 11: MARRAKECH | DESIGN YOUR DAY

Begin your day at Jardin Majorelle, a picturesque garden created by French painter Jacques Majorelle and later restored by design legend Yves Saint-Laurent.

Stop at the Yves Saint Laurent Museum nearby for an up-close look at some of the famed designer’s creations. This afternoon, enjoy one of these Design Your Day activities:
